Welcome to the Cam and Dursley Web Site

This site provides information about Cam and Dursley and the surrounding area for visitors and residents.

Dursley's reputation and credibility comes from the historic Market House located in the center of the town.  Dating from 1738, the Market House also doubled as the Town Hall. The upper part of this charming building is supported by pillars and has a bell turret atop. The east face bears a statue of Queen Anne.

Dursley is surrounded by beautiful countryside, woodlands, fields and views over looking the river Severn. Local landmarks include Tyndale's Monument in North Nibley and Woodchester Mansion near Nympsfield. From Stinchcombe Hill there are stunning views over the vale of Berkeley across the Severn and into Wales.
